Using a unique heat treatment process called reticulation, the surface of the material can be manipulated with flame. This creates textural ridges and creases in the metal, reflective of the ridges and cliffs of a rock face.
Georgia Lee, is a professionally trained Metalsmith and Welder. She weaves these diverse skills into her creative practice by drawing from them to influence her process. Inspiration is derived from the patterns and shapes in her surroundings, whether natural or man-made. She works with her materials in an intuitive way, letting the ideas flow with experimentation."
