First of all, thank you again for getting the ring to me so quickly!!! I still think of it as a good omen that I received it on my "due date". :) We had baby chaos over here, but she's here and all is good!!! I actually had a whole other message on here, but had to shut my laptop before I sent it and ended up losing the message. And then baby life took over and my brain fell out... anyhoos, to summarize what I was saying before, I 'took the ring out for a walk' a few times, in different lights, and saw the blue that was in the photos. The stone picks up light in the most interesting way. Anyhoo, I ended up falling in love with it, the most interesting stone I've seen. I have to be honest, I wasn't 100% sure about it at first and needed some time with it. As weird as that may sound... I didn't want to write a 'negative' message to you, because you guys are great, so partly took my time because of that. At first I wasn't sure if you had sent the right ring. Everything looked like the pictures, except for the colour of the stone. It looked grey... almost salt and pepper like, but not quite. It was confusing. So I wanted to spend some time with it, take it out in the sun, figure out if I'm colour blind. 😊 The pictures made it look so blue...but I wasn't seeing the blue in the ring. I've been on the search for the perfect blue for a long time and when I saw this ring, I knew I had to have it... I wanted something that looked like my husband's eyes. Not an easy colour to find...a beautiful and special blue. Anyhoos.....I love it.
